Picturesquely arranged along the north side of the pond are three clusters of cut stone blocks erected here in 1873. Over the years, the charm and romance of this composition has drawn visitors like a magnet.  In particular, it has proved extremely popular for wedding party photographs, with groups often lined up on Saturdays waiting their turn for the photos that will be treasured mementos for a lifetime.
